Welcome to the
Havelock Community Centre,
the heart of our local
community in Southsea

We look forward to welcoming you

Our vision is for Havelock Community Centre to be the heart of our local community, providing a sustainable, secure, culturally diverse and accessible space that is valued and supported by the people living in and visiting Southsea. We will promote, enable and facilitate varied and inclusive activities, which embrace and address the education, training, employment, welfare, health, social, cultural and recreational needs of the local community.

We are a registered charity and we’re able to thrive with the support of our valued users and partnerships.

We have a wide variety of activities and services and are always looking at new ideas and schemes to support the community so whether you want to develop a new skill, learn something new or share your own knowledge and experiences, our door is open for you.

We have regular groups and classes all week at Havelock Community Centre. Take a look through our calendar to see what you might like to get involved in.

The rooms at the centre are available to hire for private parties and events, workshops, meetings, and regular groups.

There are many events throughout the year, hosted by Havelock for you to sign up to. Come and get involved. Take a look!

Very good features & facilities for older people's drop in.

Fantastic community resource - a real asset for locals.

A local hub with the emphasis on community. It has a wide range of activities and social events for every age group. Activities range from yoga and meditation through to karate lessons.

Lots of space available, especially for such a well located venue in Southsea in close proximity to Albert Road, Southsea

Big spacious room with plenty of tables and chairs, good venue for children's parties. A lift provides access for those unable to use the stairs, or if your child is in a pram or pushchair.
